The Swamp

For years a sad green frog sat in a quiet pond, watching charts bleed. He'd seen every cycle. He'd said feels bad man more times than any frog alive.

The Storm

One night a storm rolled over the swamp. A Thunder Stone washed down from Kanto and landed at his feet. He was hungry, and he did not read the label. He ate it.

The Evolution

His skin turned yellow. Ears shot up with black tips. Two red cheeks lit up with static, and his tail bent into a lightning bolt. The lips stayed. He became Pepechu, the first Electric/Troll Pokémon, No. 420 in no official Pokédex.

The Chain

A frog that runs on volts needs a fast chain. Pepechu hopped onto Robinhood Chain, launched on pons, and lives on the GMGN chart. Every green candle charges his cheeks. Every red one he answers with Copium Blast.
